Season of Giving

Hi,

I am new to blog, and this is my first blogging.

I guess I would like to introduce Nivasa Foundation, an organization that's working to break the cycle of slavery by providing for the children of enslaved victims.

I am so excited about our new project for the upcoming year. Nivasa is planning to send three volunteer officers to Sri Lanka in the year 2010 to visit the children of human trafficking victims who are sponsored through Nivasa Foundation. It will be an adventurous, educational and uplifting experience to both volunteers and the families in Sri Lanka. the volunteers will have the opportunity to meet the victims and their children face to face, and listen to their stories and learn from their experience. We will provide educational workshops and introduce the potential victims to the micro credit program to encourage them to start up small businesses locally without seeking foreign employment. Now that the country is free from terrorism, the island offers endless opportunities to become successful. We will also use this opportunity to interview and recruit another set of ten children to our sponsorship program while enjoying the beauty and serenity of the most beautiful island in the world.

Meet us on twitter, facebook and http://www.nivasafoundation.org/
